Programs and Outreach
In addition to the standard diversity training, Gulfstream has added many fun and interesting classes such as multi - cultural learning, remedial English and Reading, and many others. The additional classes have addressed diversity in a progressive manner while investigating the many ways our workforce differences can benefit the company.
An improved partnering with hiring managers has provided a needed educational venue to better inform managers about their responsibilities through our Affirmative Action Plan and provided clear workforce analysis. A diversity calendar is provided with important diversity dates and events within the company.
At Gulfstream, we lead and support community-focused events and programs that impact our workforce or their families. Gulfstream is a major sponsor of the Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration each year. We have also formed a partnership with the Civil Rights Museum of Savannah to educate local students on the importance of Diversity in business.
Additional sponsorships and partnerships include: Women's Welfare to Work, Women in Aviation Sponsor, National Asian Pacific American Heritage Month Sponsor, National Convention for Black Engineers, Memorial Day Breakfast sponsor.
