GULFSTREAM APPOINTS GREG COLLETT
DIRECTOR OF NEW PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT
AND MANUFACTURING OPERATIONS
SAVANNAH, Ga., August 27, 2007 – Greg Collett has been appointed director of new product development and manufacturing operations, Gulfstream Aerospace. In this new position, he will direct all activities for the company’s new manufacturing facility currently under construction in Savannah . After the facility opens, he will continue to oversee its activities.
Most recently, Collett served as the director of final phase manufacturing in Savannah , overseeing the completion of the G550, G500, G450 and G350 business-jet aircraft. Prior to this, he served as Gulfstream’s director of initial phase manufacturing.
Collett rejoined Gulfstream from Aerostructures Corp. in Nashville , Tenn. , where he was vice president of operations. Prior to that, he had spent two years with Gulfstream as the director of initial phase manufacturing and before then, he served with several other aerospace companies.
Collett earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Youngstown State University.
