GULFSTREAM APPOINTS PAUL LU AS ON-SITE PROGRAM MANAGER FOR SUPPLIERS OF GULFSTREAM G650

SAVANNAH, Ga., August 12, 2008 – Gulfstream Aerospace, a wholly owned subsidiary of General Dynamics (NYSE:GD), has selected Paul Lu as the on-site program manager for suppliers supporting the Gulfstream G650 program. In this position, Lu serves as the company liaison with key Gulfstream suppliers in the Irvine, Calif., area. He is responsible for overseeing the design, test, certification, quality and reliability of the parts and components supplied to Gulfstream.

Lu has been with Gulfstream for 12 years. Before this appointment, he was a program manager for Special Missions, supporting government and military programs across various Gulfstream service center sites. He also served as sales and business manager for the Long Beach, Calif., Gulfstream facility, the entry-into-service program manager, and the Government Programs manager and assistant manager.

During his 30-year aerospace career, Lu also worked as an aviation manager stationed in Kazakhstan and a flight engineer for Mobil Corp. in Fairfax, Va.

Lu earned a bachelor’s degree in aviation from Thomas Edison State College in Trenton, N.J., a master’s degree in aeronautical science from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Fla., and a doctorate in business administration from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. Based in Southern California, Lu reports to Kurt Erbacher, vice president, G650 program.
